San Juan Capistrano, CA — San Clemente has a very strong team, we have only beat them twice in 17 years. Today wasn’t a perfect ending to the 2024 season, but it was a a good day for tennis.

San Juan Capistrano, CA — All smiles today as JSerra JV/Prep avenges and early season loss at Crean Lutheran with a 10-8 home victory! In this all-doubles format, JSerra swept 8 of 9 matches at lines 1 through 3 while picking up the extra 2 victories in lines 4 through 6. The initial match, earlier in September, went to the Saints 4-14, so this was a HUUGE upset win by the Lions!

San Juan Capistrano, CA — The Lions JV Prep Crimson squad took it to the Eagles in good fashion with a SOLID 11-7 victory. Two of those losses were injury defaults.

Fountain Valley, CA — Very proud of how our ladies - the GOLD Squad - represented themselves and JSerra Catholic High School this afternoon. They competed hard, were great sports and were very cordial with the Fountain Valley players. It’s important for us coaches to have the girls present themselves well at the public schools and you all rocked it today - so thank you!

San Juan Capistrano, CA — The OC turned into the “Mosquito Coast” this weekend as JV Prep lost all 3 matches by the identical scores of 6-12. (Ha! Ha! … a dad joke that only your grandparents would appreciate……the “go to” mosquito repellent in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s was a product simply named “6-12”.

San Clemente, CA — JV Prep (crimson squad) looked good rocking PINK outfits in honor of breast cancer awareness month, played well, but still came up a bit short, 6-12. 2 tie-breaker losses turned to wins would have been 8-10, so it was closer than score suggests.

Huntington Beach, CA — JSerra = Tournament CHAMPIONS !!!

Huntington Beach, CA — JSerra JV Prep / FS (squads B & C) represented JSerra Catholic well in this tightly played match at Huntington Beach this morning.

San Juan Capistrano, CA — Tough outing today in our season opener. Our JV Prep / FS team sailed through rough waters but ultimately found ourselves overpowered by the Newport Harbor Sailors. They navigated the game with skill and left us in their wake.

Anaheim, CA — The beach team traveled inland to weather they are not used to, but, handled the heat well!

Huntington Beach, CA — What a great win for our young squad this afternoon! It came down to the last few points, with all the pressure on Jenny Ji. She got into a tie-breaker and won it 7-2, which gave us a 9-9 tie in sets, with a 68-67 win by game count! Congrats to Jenny, one of the days’s MVP’s.

Aliso Viejo, CA — JSerra lost today on scoreboard but had many 'wins'!

Fountain Valley, CA — Fountain valley is always a tough place to play - lots of activity, old balls mixed up w new ones, windy, and usually a drum corp practicing for football games - at least that wasn’t going on. However, they are more lax about letting our parents sit court side, so for that we give thanks.
