In the second game of the double header the Spartans fell 5-4 as Glenoak scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth.
The Boardman Freshmen Baseball team extended their winning streak to four games as they defeated Notre Dame Cathedral Latin 12-2. Once again the Spartans received good pitching. Mason Nawrocki gave 5 strong innings, giving up only one run and striking out 12. Aaron Glista finished the game with a strong relief inning.
The Boardman Freshmen Baseball team gutted out a tough 8-5 victory against Canfield for their third straight win. Landon Whippo battled his way through 5 innings giving up 2 earned runs while striking out 4. Mason Nawrocki once again entered in relief, this time earning the win in 1.2 innings as he struck out 4 batters as well.
The Boardman Freshmen Baseball team took home their second straight victory with a 5-1 win against Mogadore Field. Once again the Spartans were led by a great pitching performance, this time from Ivan Rudiak who went 6.2 innings while striking out 6 and giving up only one run. Mason Nawrocki once again came in to close out the game to earn the save.
