With a limited spring break roster and against tough competition from the 3A and 4A divisions the Coral Academy track team competed well over the 2 day meet at Reed High School.
On Saturday, the Coral Academy track team traveled to Yerington, NV to face many of it's division 2A league opponents including 3 teams from the 3A division.
The Coral Academy Track team's freshmen and sophomores traveled to San Andreas, California on Friday and turned in some great performances including gold medal finishes by Cade McIntyre, and Gavin Voskamp. We had great weather and several of the young Falcons turned in personal record performances.
As a team both the boys and girls Falcons finished in 1st place. Strong performances by Emily Pasillas who finished first in the 100 hurdles,200, 300 hurdles, and anchored the first place mile relay as well as the boys hurdles and jumps crew powered the first place team finishes. 30 degree temperatures combined with wind gusts blowing right into the runners for the last 100 meters of each race did not slow down the Falcons as they competed on the track and in the field.
