Yerington, NV — On Saturday, the Coral Academy track team traveled to Yerington, NV to face many of it's division 2A league opponents including 3 teams from the 3A division. The boys finished 5th place overall with 73 points led by medalists Sebastian Poulsen (2:15.65 for 2nd place in the 800 meters), the 400 meter relay squad of Tyki Ngo, Eric Estrada, Abdullah Mahmud, and Roger Wiseman (48.14 for 3rd place), Roy Wynn (40'8" for 2nd place in shotput), Sebastian Juarez (40'3.5" for 3rd place in shotput), and Ahmed Sanousi (5'10" for 3rd place in the high jump) The girls finished 6th place overall with 32 points led by medalists Emily Pasillas (18.81 for 3rd place in the 100 meter hurdles), and the 400 meter relay squad of Gabriella Poulsen, Leila Mago, Lourdes Loe, and Anna Ngo (54.97 for 1st place).
