It was Homecoming on Friday night as your Sonora Raiders hosted the visiting Fullerton Indians, and it didn't take long for the fireworks to begin as the two teams took the field. Following a quick three-and-out, Sonora got the scoring started following a long drive, capped by a 17-yard touchdown run by Senior Running Back Nicholas Fernandez. Fullerton quickly countered with a score of their own, and the slugfest was underway.

The Sonora Raiders spoiled another Homecoming on Friday Night, as they squared off against Sunny Hills in the 2023 Freeway League Opener. Big scores from Senior Quarterback Landon Martin, Senior Running Back Tyler Robertson, and Junior Running Back Anthony Abad propelled the Raiders to a decisive 21-13 victory over the host Lancers of Sunny Hills.
