Hawks season comes to a close
This was a tough end to a great season. We have learned so much as a program and progressed so far. A top 8 finish in state was a great accomplishment.

This game was a battle of wills and a contrast of styles. Shelley was the higher ranked team coming in (#6 in the Max preps rankings). So although we played the host not many gave us a chance to win.
Hawks got inside the BK 20 yard line 5 times and came away with 7 points. Word of the day on Saturday is finish. We struggled to finish drives against a very savvy football team. The boys competed hard and played well. We just didn’t finish.
It’s been a long journey to improvement this year and the boys have worked really hard to be a top team in 4A. The win against Ridgevue sets up the opportunity to play the #1 ranked team in the state for the conference championship on Friday 10/20.
