Nampa, ID — This game was a battle of wills and a contrast of styles. Shelley was the higher ranked team coming in (#6 in the Max preps rankings). So although we played the host not many gave us a chance to win. The game began with both offenses scoring on first possessions and taking the entire quarter to do it. Defenses got stops in the second quarter the game was tied 14-14 at half. A scoreless 3rd quarter lead to a goaline stand for the Hawks in the fourth quarter and an epic length of the field drive to paydirt and yet one more defensive stop. to clinch the win 21-14. A playoff win vs a higher ranked opponent. One of the toughest accomplishments a team has made in my 18 years at Skyview High School. This team has come a long way. We are very proud of the things we have accomplished. We face the #1 ranked Hillcrest Knights Friday night 7 pm at Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls. Time to Shock the State of Idaho. Go Hawks!
