The Rams battled hard today against JW North HS. In an exciting overtime period, the girls forced a few turnovers that converted to easy layups by Ashley Milot and Ajanae Davis. Way to handle the pressure and really step up ladies!!
Tough loss today against Great Oak High School. Mesa started out with a 6 point lead, but Great Oak started a run that put us behind. The girls fought hard the entire game as usual, and came within 4 points toward the end. We got a few crucial steals but unfortunately could not convert and swing the game to a W. We’ll be back for revenge during league!!
Mesa's Freshman Girls pulled out a big Win against Temescal Canyon HS today with a final score of 51-10. The girls looked sharp and adapted well against a defense that they had never seen before. The girls shot with a team record high of 45% in the field. A team total of 26 steals and the efficient conversion of those steals into points really secured the Ram victory. This game was hopefully just a glimpse of the level of competition we can play at for the remainder of the season.
