Strong Pitching Not Enough for Scots Against West Ottawa

Carter Born took the loss for the Fighting Scots. The hurler lasted five innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out four. Born shut out West Ottawa during four of the five innings he threw, but the Panthers pushed crossed four runs during the fourth inning with four walks.

Scots Win Tuesday Game 2 Verse West Ottawa

Even though the Fighting Scots gave up three runs in the fourth inning, they still defeated West Ottawa 10-3 on Tuesday.

Scots Lose 4-1 to West Ottawa

Aaron Hileman led things off on the hill for Varsity Caledonia Fighting Scots. The southpaw surrendered four runs on five hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out four. Hileman threw three scoreless innings for the Scots to start the game, but the Caledonia offense struggled to get going. Hileman would give way to Cam Myers, who threw two and a third innings out of the bullpen, only allowing one hit and no runs.

Scots Win Game 1 of Series with East Kentwood

The Caledonia Fighting Scots defeated East Kentwood Varsity Falcons 9-3 on Tuesday thanks to a timely eight runs in a big fourth inning. Nick Slater, Derek Pennington, Mitchell Smith, Tommy Clarey, and Corbin Raffler all drove in runs in the frame.
