Big Offense then Tough Pitching Helps Bay win Two of Three

BLAINE, MN – The Bay Norse Softball Team (13-11) won two out of three games in the second day of the Region 13 Crossover Tournament, claiming a 4-2 record in two days. On Tuesday they started the day with a 11-1 loss to Anoka-Ramsey (5-7). They rebounded to dominate Mesabi Range (0-5) by a final score of 13-1, the same as the final the day before. In the nightcap the Norse scratched out a hard-fought 1-0 win over Dakota College at Bottineau.

Softball Takes Two of Three

BLAINE, MN – The Norse Softball Team (11-10) picked up a pair of wins in three games on Monday as they competed in the Region 13 Crossover Tournament. The started off the day with a 6-3 win over Dakota College at Bottineau (4-8-1). After an extra innings loss to Rochester Community and Technical College (6-11) by a final of 4-3, the Norse rebounded with a 13-1 victory over Mesabi Range Technical and Community College.

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Norse Softball Team (9-9) capped off their spring break trip. They ended the week being swept in a three-game series with Henry Ford College (7-1) before taking two out of three games from Rochester Community and Technical College (4-11).

Norse Softball Off and Running on Spring Break Trip

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Bay College Softball Team (7-5) continues their southern trip. They opened with a 10-1 loss to Catawba Valley Community College (11-1) and a 6-5 loss to Rochester Community and Technical College (2-6). They bounced back on Sunday to sweep a doubleheader against Lackawanna College (2-2) on Sunday by scores of 7-0 and 11-10, but the Falcons got revenge the next day taking two games by final scores of 4-3 and 7-6.
