SHP Recap

JSerra’s 12 game winning streak came to and end against the No. 1 seed Sacred Heart Prep, losing 10-6. The Lion’s razor thin roster was put to the test with Johan going down to injury and not available for the game. It was a heroic effort given this was the 4th game in the tournament with our boys playing the majority of every game and very little rest. Everyone played hard the whole game.

Loyola Recap

JSerra further solidified their reputation as the kings of the 1 goal victory itching their 4th 1 goal win of the year; beating Loyola 11-10. This was a hard fought battle between two equally matches teams, but the Lions pulled it out in the 4th to reach the semis of the Elite 12 tournament.

Bishops Recap

It was deja vu all over again as the Lions repeated their pattern of tight first quarters followed by dominant play in quarters 2-4. JSerra got off to another slow start today vs Bishops trailing 2-1 after 1 period of play with the lone goal in the quarter coming off a 5m by Will.

Oaks Recap

It was Lions v Lions as the JSerra Lions took on the Oaks Christian Lions to kick off the 2021 Elite 12 tournament. It was another tight first quarter and things started a little chippy which made for an intense environment in the deck. Will got the scoring going with a goal to tie it at 1. Johan buried a 5 meter for JSerra’s only other goal in the quarter. It was tied 2-2 at the end of the first frame.
