JSerra got off to another slow start today vs Bishops trailing 2-1 after 1 period of play with the lone goal in the quarter coming off a 5m by Will. Things turned around in the 2nd with Johan getting in the board to tie it at 2. Drew scored to give the Lions their first lead of the game at 3-2. Johan and Mason added 1 goal each to bring the score to 5-4 at half. The game broke open in the 3rd with JS outscoring Bishops 4-1 led by 2 goals from Johan and 1 each by Will and Drew. Our boys kept the pedal to the metal in the final frame, outscoring the Knights 5-2. Drew and Mason both found the back of the net twice and Johan added one more to his tally. Final score 14-7.
