Offense was hard to come by on Tuesday as both Troy and Sonora had great pitching performances.
Sunny Hills tallied 13 hits compared to Sonora's 3 to secure a 12-2 win.
Sonora pulled out a much needed league home win on Wednesday 9-5. The Raiders started off strong with 2 in the first and 3 in the second, but the Highlanders wouldn't go down quitely. Heading into the bottom of the 5th it was 5-3 Sonora before Evan Villanueva hit a 3-run double to help the Raiders pull away.
Sonora scored one in the first and the third both sparked by leadoff hits by McCall. That would be all Kyle Sepe would need as he pitched 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 1 hit and 5 strikeouts. Ferrin finished the job with a scoreless 7th to get Sonora their first league win of the season.
