Masuk High’s football team bounced back from a 21-0 loss to Bunnell of Stratford on Oct. 4 with a convincing 42-7 triumph at New Milford Friday night.
In a clash between unbeatens the Masuk High football team blanked host New Canaan 14-0 on Friday night. Masuk (3-0) holds the top spot in the Class MM state rankings and New Canaan (2-1), a top 10 squad in Class L.
Masuk High’s football team will be away from Benedict Stadium for a while, so they may as well get comfortable on the road. The Panthers did just that with a convincing 49-6 win at Enfield on Friday night.
In a rematch of last year’s state playoff game with Wilton, won by the Warriors, Masuk High’s football team got some redemption to open the new season. Host Masuk prevailed 33-26 over the Warriors in a back and forth contest full of big plays.
