THS controlled much of the game, applying consistent offensive pressure and creating several scoring opportunities, but couldn’t find the finishing touch to secure the win. Despite dominating possession and pushing forward, the Chieftains were unable to convert their chances into goals. Ottawa’s defense held firm, keeping the game scoreless until the final whistle. THS showed strong attacking intent but will look to capitalize on their chances in future matches.

Wet Sloppy Game

The Tonganoxie High School JV soccer team faced a tough match against Topeka Hayden, falling 5-1. Despite a strong effort, THS struggled to contain Hayden’s offense, which capitalized on several key opportunities throughout the game. Levi Lindholm scored the lone goal for Tonganoxie, providing a brief spark for the team. Although the Chieftains showed determination, Topeka Hayden's pressure and finishing proved too much in the end.
