Tonganoxie, KS — The THS JV took on Bishop Miege and, well, let’s just say we found out what it’s like to play against a team that probably recruits straight out of kindergarten. The final score was 7-0, and it felt like every Miege player had a future soccer scholarship waiting for them. Despite being up against what felt like an all-star team in the making, our guys fought hard and never quit. Sure, Miege’s passes were crisp and their footwork was slick, but we’ll chalk that up to years of scouting reports and specialized training camps. In the end, we learned a lot—mostly that Bishop Miege’s JV-team could probably beat some varsity squads, but we’ll be ready for them next time!
