San Clemente Tournament

The girls had a great day Saturday winning their first team title at an invitational tournament. 4 Champions, 4 third places and 1 fourth place. I really was a great day.

Western Girls Pioneer Showdown

Congrats to the girls JV team for their 8th place finish at the Western Girls Pioneer Showdown. All of the girls wrestled great. Susan Park placed 3rd, Dominique Beasca placed 3rd and Ashley Maya was a Champion at her weight class. Super proud coach!!!

Savanna Girls Rebel Rumble

Congrats to the girls varsity team for their 8th place finish at the Savvana Girls Rebel Rumble. All the girls got wins and Ali Reitzel placed 6th, Yuliana Vizcaino placed 4th, Rianna Gonzales placed 3rd and Karamia Guzman placed 2nd. Super proud of these girls!!!

In a hard fought battle,Valencia and Cypress went to extra innings. Emily Iannotti pitched a great game for Cypress keeping the Tigers off balance for most of the game. The Centurions had runners in scoring position the last three innings but couldn't push a run across. In the bottom of the eighth Valencia's Taylor Brown came up with two outs and blooped a single just out of the reach of the second baseman Michelle Borchardt. Lauren Saucedo scored from second base giving Valencia the win. The Tigers are 1-0 in league and 9-2 overall. The Centurions drop to 0-1 in league and 8-6 overall.
