Saturday the boys had an early turnover in their own redzone, which led to a TD a few plays later. They didn't put their heads down and quit, they fought back. Missing several passes in the 1st half by the offense, the defense had to step up. The defense had several stops even a stop in the redzone to keep the game close. Critical moment and probably the most controversial call of the game came late in the 1st half with the defense holding steady in the redzone again........the D make a stop, the ball carrier was stopped, whistles blows, players, stop. The runner proceeds to pitch the ball to another player and that player proceeds to run in the endzone untouched while most had stopped on the play on both sides. After a few heated moments of argument and protest to no avail...we went into halftime down 12-0.
