After another cancellation/forfeit, we were able to play a game. A game against a team that had already cancelled on our regular season matchup last minute and earlier matchup originally scheduled in North Carolina. One team had an injury to a player and was not able to make it and the other team was same team that never showed up to play us. Everything had worked out, we moved our game up a few hours to accommodate them to play so it would be no excuses to leave town and not play us now. Before the game even started the Wolfpack lined up and marched down the sidelines from across the filed towards us. They just stood there as to intimidate the boys or something, said they came down to check books. before they went back to they side they decided to huddle up next to us and 1,2,3 WolfPack loudly as to intimidated the boys.

This was a trip we had waited for quite some time now. A trip to North Carolina to play in a 14u tournament. It was billed as DMV vs NC, the hype was there. Teams from NC were hyped and ready to play us. The line up from NC had what was said to be some of the best the state had to offer and they wanted to play us. This tournament was months in the making, several hours of phone calls, several text messages back and forth between teams and coaches. The promise of a huge turnout was highly anticipated. The idea of 1st and 2nd place trophies added to the hype of playing in this tournament.
