Great victory today!
JSerra continues their league win streak to five, finishing the first round of Trinity play with a solid win over the Monarchs of Mater Dei 12 - 6. A miraculous first round in today's match saw the Lions sweep 5 of 6 sets. Taylor and Kaley quickly dispatched their respective opponents at lines 1 and 3. Jenna was up 5 - 2 before and injury time out slowed the flow, but, she overcame that and other obstacles to prevail 7-5. Claire and Katy G. had a great upset win over MD's #1 line doubles in an awesome tiebreaker! Both of these matches finished at the same time, could have gone either way, and were the keys to the victory today.
