A fantastic season from the JSerra Girls Soccer team came to a disappointing end, as the Lions fell to Mission Hills 1-0 in the first round of the CIF Division 2 SoCal Regional Championships Tuesday evening at Mission Hills High.
The Lions and Grizzlies went toe-to-toe in a defensive battle throughout the contest, with each team thwarting scoring opportunities with key defensive plays.
Grizzlies junior Amanda Anders tallied the match-winning goal in the 78th minute.
JSerra finishes the season with a 12-5-6 overall record.
