The JSerra Girls Soccer team went toe-to-toe with first place Santa Margarita on Monday evening, and after an energetic defensive battle, the Lions and Eagles played to a 0-0 tie in Trinity League action at Santa Margarita High.
JSerra, which is unbeaten in their last four league games, is now 9-3-5 overall and 3-2-2 in league.
Both the Lions and Eagles traded scoring chances in the second half, but the defenses for both teams prevented any scoring.
Freshman goalie Kai Beary had seven saves for the Lions.
JSerra will be home on Wednesday evening for their regular season finale, as they will host the Rosary Royals.
Kickoff is scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
