Luke Keppel and AJ Hines paced WHS in this regular season EPC game. With the 48-39 win, Whitehall clinched a spot in the upcoming EPC league tournament.
Emmaus took a 9 point lead after one period and never looked back. They led by 12 at the half and maintained a double digit lead most of the game in this 54-40 final. WHS is back in action Monday at CCHS.
Whitehall had four players score in double figures in this non-league win that qualifies the Zephyrs for post season action in 2024. Hines finished with17, Orochena 14, Ringenberger 12, and Keppel with 10. Whitehall returns to league action on Monday at Northampton.
WHS squandered a 13 point second half lead to PME, but came back to win late with the help of a 3 point shot by Luke Keppel late in the game. On the next possession, Whitehall forced a turnover and then secured the win when Keppel went to the line and made 2 of 2 free throws. WHS continues on the road Saturday in a nonleague game vs North Schuylkill.
