Tustin came out in the first half and scored easily on the Griffins (what happened boys?). The Griffins perked up in the second half and scored against Tustin and brought a much better game, but again, too little too late. The Griffins definately have the skill to dominate on the field...let's get that W next week!
The first quarter spelled out most of the game for our Griffins. Saddleback Valley scored two touchdowns early in the game and the Griffins just couldn't return the punch. The D-line held their opponents back in the second half, but too little too late for our boys to get points on the board.
The Griffins came out for a devastating loss on home turf this week. Santa Margherita managed several points on the board and the Griffins simply couldn't keep up. The game ended with points on the board for our boys, but too little too late. The boys better rest up; coaches will be reviewing and giving it at practice.
For our first game on home turf the boys came out and scored two touchdowns. The first half was strong but after halftime, the Panthers squeaked in and took back the game. Lessons learned for the Griffins, who will take our errors to practice and clean up loose ends for next week's game against the Cardinals.
