The Golden Tigers will close out their first year of Mountain League Competition by hosting Bellefonte and defending Mt League Champion Tyrone. Pennsylvania’s Bi-Polar Spring is calling for highs in the low 40’s with high winds, perfect weather for a day on the slopes! As with any PA weather, just wait a few minutes and it’ll change. Let’s hope it does by Tuesday

The Tigers traveled north of Happy Valley to Penns Valley for a Mountain League Meet with Clearfield. The ladies kept up their winning ways defeating host Penns Valley 114-36 and Clearfield 113-37. Marin Miller again paced the Tigers with 3 individual wins in the 100m, 200m, Long Jump and an Anchor on the 1600m Relay. Emily Bumberger was a double winner taking the shot and discus. Jenna Wilt, Pole Vault, Emma Parnell-Triple Jump, Sophia Moyer-400m we’re individual winners. The 400 relay of Ellen Yarnell, Lily Jodon, Ann Strayer and Elizabeth Frazier and the 1600 Relay of Ali Burk, Emily Clapper, Sophia Moyer and Marin Miller we’re winners. 2nd place finishes were Elizabeth Frazier-200m, Lily Jodon High Jump, Alli Burk 300 Hurdles, Emma Parnell Long Jump, Emily Clapper Triple Jump, Aubrie Sipes Shot and Discus, Maddie Shanafelt 3200m and Aubree Waksmonski 400m. 3rd place finishers were, Elizabeth Frazier 100m, Lily Jodon 200m, Cali Bainey 100 Hurdles, Emily Clapper High Jump, Lily Ansley Pole Vault, Sophia Moyer Long Jump, Claire Marceau 3200m, Lily Clayton 800m and Zoey Wilt Javelin.
After a non league meet on Thursday, the Tigers get back to their Mountain League schedule with a visit to Penns Valley along with Clearfield. This will be the First time running @ Penns Valley for the Tigers.
