Zee-Bees fall to Mundelein

The Zee-Bees had trouble keeping up with Mundelein in an 11-1 loss on Tuesday. Ethan McDonald took the loos for the Zee Bees. He threw 4 and 1/3 innings, giving up 8 hits while striking out 3. Ryan Dunne had the lone hit for the Bees, doubling in the top of the third. Elijah Hudson scored the Bees lone run, reaching base by getting hit by a pitch. This game finishes the season for the Zee-Bees. Come cheer on the Varsity Zee-Bees next week against the Waukegan Bulldogs on Monday at 4:30 pm at the ZBTHS Varsity Baseball field.

Zee Bees Can't Catch Up To Mundelein

The Zee Bees watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 21-3 loss to Mundelein on Monday. Dominik Leith took the loss for the Zee Bees. The hurler allowed eight hits and 12 runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one.

Zee-Bees Defeat Waukegan

The Zee-Bees coasted to an easy victory over Waukegan 12-2 on Monday. The Bees opened up scoring in the first inning. Gavin Osborne drove in the first run. The Bees scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning. Jaxon Zaugra, Ethan McDonald, and Jack Marabella each had RBIs in the big inning. Ryan Dunne started the game for the Bees lasting two innings, allowing 1 hit and striking out three. Dominik Leith earned the win for the Bees on the mound. He threw five innings, allowing zero runs on four hits, and struck out five. Jack Marabella led the Zee Bees with two hits in three at bats. Noah Espinosa led the Bees on the basepaths, swiping two of the Zee-Bees seven stolen bases.

Zee-Bees fall to Libertyville

The Zee-Bees struggled to put runs on board and had a tough time defensively as Libertyville put 14 runs up on the board. Dominik Leith took the loss for the Bees. He threw three innings, allowing 8 hits and 5 earned runs while striking out 5. Gavin Osborne and Jaxon Zaugra provided the offense for the Bees contributing 1 hit each with Zaugra driving in the lone Zee-Bee run. The Zee-Bees are back at it next week, playing the Waukegan Bulldogs.
