Wyoming scored 21 points in the first quarter and never looked back as they cruised to a 79-49 victory. Brady Swartz led the Sailors with 12 points.
Sailors led 16-5 after one quarter and stretched the lead out to 39-13 at half. But the Dutch picked up the pace and hit some shots from three point land and closed the margin to 11 points in the 4th. A late run of baskets and clutch free throw shooting late in the game sealed the deal for a 67-51 victory.
Muskegon got off to a fast start leading early but the Sailors fought hard to make it a close 16-18 first quarter. After stretching the lead to 11 in the 3rd quarter the Big Reds saw the Sailors cut the lead to 6 but held on to win 56-67.
Reeths Puffer kept fighting after being down 18-6 at the end of the first quarter and squeaked out a 2 point win 51-49 Tuesday night at the Sailor Center. Jonathan Pittman led the Sailors with 14 points.
