Scrimmage: Indians 9, Elks Yankees 0 (final - 5 innings)
The Indians took the field last night in what was their first scrimmage against a major division team since pre-COVID. They hosted the Elks Yankees at Bill Martin Park in what started off as a pitching dual. The Indians received a great start from AJ, who was able to go through the Yankees line up in his two innings of work without giving up a run. The Indians appeared to be getting ready to score in the bottom half of the 1st, but were denied by a tremendous diving catch by the shortstop.
