Bearcats start the week with a sweep over South Hills High School. Freshman Setter #18 Ally Rohrer had 18 Assists, 3 Aces, and 2 blocks to help guide the Bearcats to victory.
The Bearcats began the match with precision passing and big time kills from Senior Outside Hitters #15 Sarah Schmitt and #12 Megan Skinner. With a 20-12 lead in the 2nd set and seemingly cruising to a 3rd sweep in a 3 matches but the San Dimas Saints took advantage of some Bearcat errors and put together a comeback that led them to a 25-23 win. Despite the lost set the Bearcats came back and put together another easy set win in the 3rd set but the Saints carried their home court advantage and an epic second set comeback to a 5 set win.
The Bearcats defeated Don Lugo 25-18, 25-21, 25-14, to keep their home record unblemished. The Bearcats were led by Senior Outside Hitter #15 Sarah Schmitt with 12 kills and Junior Middle Hitter #34 Kyra Miller with 7kills.
The Bearcats opened their 2019 Home Season with a sweep over Diamond Bar high School. Senior #15 Sarah Schmitt led the Bearcats with 10 kills and #34 Middle Hitter Junior Kyra Miller added another 8 in the contest.
