The Bearcats JV Flag Football finished up their season by hosting the crosstown Aragon Dons. Arianna Cardenas Jacobo connected with Maanyaa Mishra for a first half Bearcats touchdown. The team concludes the season with a 2-8 record that did see continued growth and improvement among the athletes all season long.
The SMHS JV Girls Flag Football team defeated the Hillsdale Knights by a score of 12-6 on 10/21/24 at Mills HS. Afu Feletoa and Addison Busse each had big touchdowns for the Bearcats. San Mateo next faces off against Aragon High School at SMHS on Wednesday 10/23 for their season finale.
The Bearcats (1-6, 1-6) played a tough game against the Woodside Wildcats Wednesday evening, and the team kept fighting until the end. Next up for the Bearcats will be a battle with Hillsdale High School on Oct. 21st.
