The Valencia Vikings traveled to the Great Park in Irvine to compete in the nation’s largest high school cross country race, The Woodbridge Invitational. With a flat, fast course snaking around the park’s soccer fields and large competitive fields, the Vikings were looking to set new PRs from top to bottom of the roster.

The Vikings battled at the first Foothill League race under near ideal race conditions over the hilly course at College of the Canyons. With stiff local competition, the Vikings made their mark across all divisions and showed the region they are a team to be reckoned with.

Jaguar Invitational - Aug 31st

At the Jaguar Invitational in Oxnard, CA, the Valencia Vikings Cross Country team demonstrated exceptional grit despite the sweltering heat and humidity, with temperatures reaching the low 90s. The flat course, looping around Del Sol High School's athletic fields and adjacent dirt lot, proved to be a tough challenge.
