Nightcap

In the night cap, the Lady Raiders took one on the chin. The Silver Lake bats came out hot early and created havoc. After three early errors, the defense was able to settle in and battle for the remainder of the game. Tulsa Schultz got the scoring started by hitting a towering homerun. Alana McCarthy also keeps her hot streak going by going 2-3 scoring twice and hitting her 7th homerun of the season. Landri Adams showed some mental toughness after a tough outing in the circle and blasted her 4th home run of the season. The Lady Raiders showed some grit as they battled back to keep themselves in the game but in the end the hill was to high to climb.

Heavyweight Battle

Tuesday this week the Lady Raiders took the field against one of the best teams in Kansas and they dominated the game in all areas. Staring with Peyton Hardenburger striking out 16 and only allowing one hit. In this game Peyton also reached a milestone as a pitcher. She surpassed the 500 strikeout mark! Offensively, the bats were hot from the start, being led by Alana McCarthy. She went 2-4 2 RBI's and a homer. Not far behind were Landri Adams, Arabell Razzano and Morgan Evans going 2-3 and and each scoring a run. This was a complete team win from Peyton's pitching to bunt defense, to our speed on the bases!

Perfection

Lady Raiders faced off against a tough Southeast of Saline in the second game. It was a pitchers dual the first four innings of the game and Landri Adams thrived in the battle! Lady Raiders were able to get on the board scoring scoring two runs on a Tulsa Schultz double. Kylie Bosch added in a 2 for 3 night at the plate, as well. Landri Adams and the defense settled in from there. Landri Adams through a PERFECT game allowing no hits and no walks. She struck out 11 and the defense handled the rest pulling out a 2-0 victory.

Top Dogs

In a battle of two top 4A teams, the Lady Raiders were ready for battle! Peyton Hardenburger started the game out with a bang, with a double in the first at bat. Lady Raiders strike first scoring one run in the first. McPherson was able to scratch a run across after a lead-off walk and an error. Lady Raiders settled in after that. Peyton Hardenburger began to dominate the Bullpup lineup. She struck out 20 batters and only allowing one hit on the day. Timely hits from Tulsa Schultz and Morgan Evans drove in the rest of the runs to push the score to 3-1.
