Our JV guys will now play Saturday at 3:00 against either Vista Murrieta or Rancho Christian to close out the Great Oak Tournament.
Our JV team has competed well as they have started the season with an undefeated 4-0 mark. They will compete in the Rancho Verde Tournament starting today at 4:30 against King High.
With a late surge, our Rams overcame a 10 point mid-4th quarter deficit, and won by a point. Sophomore Tristan Selvage was strong down the stretch and finished with 14 points and 4 rebounds. Sophomores Jonny Dzwileski and Colby Moran combined for 21 points and 8 rebounds to push us over the top. It was an impressive final few minutes that showed our guys have the toughness and resilience necessary to have a successful season.
Our defending league champion JV team won their first game of the season last night over visiting Orange Vista. Coach Mike Bertulfo was proud of his teams effort to start the season but is always pressing for more to get the most out of his team.
