Whittier, CA — Your EWT began the game on defense and quickly found themselves in 4th down situations three times in the Dons opening series. There were multiple players making tackles at the LOS to name just a few Big Tank Ramirez and Busty plugging up the A gaps, along with Saravia and Allen playing the edge well throughout the game and frustrated the Dons because they were not able to sustain a drive. The Dons struck first to be up 7-0 late in the 2nd quarter the Trojans began to gain momentum with Jeremiah Salas at the QB position and complementing our back field with Jaydien Carballo and Noah Vasquez getting some big runs, however the Trojans suffered a major loss with a tackle that injured Big Neff. As the Trojans go into halftime the Coaching staff made some adjustments and more importantly tapped into the teams Fighting Spirit by encouraging them to play hard for their teammate. On the kick return a fake reverse was called and even the Dons coaches fell for the fake which was when Mateo the Jet Saldana exploded and sliced through the kickoff team with his trojan blockers and scored to put the trojans up 14 to 13 and then Dinus coming in clutch with another huge field goal that would eventually lead to the final score of 16 to 13 as your Trojans shocked the SGV Conference. Manhattan Beach, CA — The East Whittier Trojans traveled to Manhattan Beach to take on the newly formed BCS Stingrays, and boy was it a great showcase with many of your Trojans making big time plays. although this was a scrimmage, the host provided referees and we were were able to play at a beautiful school MiraCosta High School. We even had a very special guest. Jim Harbaugh come out and watch the game because his son played on the other team.

Covina, CA — WHAT A GAME!!!! Your East Whittier Trojans began the game with a rocky start with some turnovers against the Covina Vikings purple team for the first half. Our defense consistently performed throughout the game holding the Vikings to 13 points for the first half. After the halftime adjustments that were made and the pep talk given to the boys, your Trojans flip the switch and begin a consistent ground attack with a very cerebral passing attack to end an exciting game with a last minute TD, come back to tie the game.
