Vaqueros down the Diablos 11-5

After a scoreless first quarter, the Vaqueros jumped ahead by one score in the second quarter and never looked back. #19 Senior Drew Bryan scored 5 goals on 7 shots on goal and grabbed two assists, while #26 Sophomore Jaden Burke added four more goals. #38 David Culciar finished the night with two more goals in the Vaquero's campaign.

Vaqueros down the Cabrillo HS Jaguars 14-1

The might Vaqueros celebrated their home opener Friday night with a big win against the Cabrillo HS Jaguars. #26 Jaden Burke led all scorers on the team with 8 goals and 10 groundballs, adding to his leads in both categories for the team this season. #31 Owen Huffmire contributed 3 more goals and went .500 at Face Off for the team. #28 Diego Moctezuma came up big with 8 groundballs of his own, 2 forced turnovers, with #99 Nima Banai added 5 groundballs and 8 forced turnovers. The Vaqueros are now 1-1 on the season and travel next to Mission Viejo to play the Diablos on Wednesday.
