Jordan Lukes’ 69-yard touchdown run on Streator’s first offensive play from scrimmage Friday gave the Bulldogs one heck of a start.
As the first of his team’s three scheduled intrasquad scrimmages last week was winding down, first-year Streator Bulldogs coach Matt Cloe called Matt Williamson over to him and told the senior wide receiver the varsity offense would be running five final plays against host Dwight, all inside the red zone.

The Streator football team scored touchdowns on seven of its eight offensive possessions, piled up 512 total yards and forced a pair of first-half turnovers to snap a four-game losing streak with a 54-21 Illinois Central Eight Conference triumph over Lisle on Friday night at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex.
