Both Alleigh Podbeusek and Eva Atencio ran personal bests to help lead the girls to a third place overall finish. A HUGE congratulations to Emerson Brinn who shattered the freshman 5k school record by over 40 seconds. Great racing Bulldogs. Join us at home for our home meet next Saturday.
Cross country ran their first meet of the season, the Park Vista Cobra Invitational. The boys kicked of the morning with a 7th place finish out of 25 teams, led Maxum Kornilov with an 18th place finish and a pr time of 17:23. The girls raced to a 6th place finish out of 24 teams led by Addison Boyer. It was a close race and with under a quarter mile to go Addison passed two runners to finish with a time of 18:39 as the park vista invitational champion. Freshman Emerson Brinn had a great race with a pr of 19:52 to finish in 9th place overall. Lots of PR’s across the board for both teams indicate that this is going to be a strong season for the bulldogs.
