Great experience

This event was a great experience to expose our plays to higher level of competition. I felt this helped them understand the level of performance it takes to play and win against great teams. This should help us understand what it will take to get to the level we need to be to have a great season this year. The players got to compete against D2 through D4 schools. We were out sized and weren't as fast as 80% of the teams that were there. But most players didn't let that effect them and gave 110% effort. Remind everyone we ate a D12 school too. Intell the last game we were only 1 touch down away from tieing the game. Defense had only seen mostly our own defense this hole spring practice and had to learn on the fly to adapter to different offense looks. Our Jv team also competed at the same level as varsity. This gave them a experience they will never see and help them get ready to play a normal JV team with Confidence and experience. Overall for us I feel that it was a great outcome for the director we what to move toward.
