The Lady Bears hosted arguably the number one team in the state yesterday afternoon. Newark came in with a 7-0 record and showed it with a 12-4 run in the fourth quarter, breaking open a 5 point game. Emma Dretke scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Polar Bears. Lauren Pallotta was back in action tonight, adding 8 points! Leena Patibandla had 6 points and 4 assists. Kylie Hawke and Alayna McMullen led the bears defensively against an incredibly strong Newark offense. The polar bears made great strides and definitely grew as a team! Their next game is against powerhouse Solon on Wednesday, December 30th.
