South LA Game
South LA is always very good. The last time we played them we were just a new Spring Select team and they beat us 5-0. This year they got caught by surprise when Jackie scored two goals in the first 7 minutes, taking the very first opportunities to shoot before they could close her down. They were still very skilled and fast. They made our fast girls look average. Jackie scored one more in the last quarter. Avery also had an outstanding game coming out of the goal to challenge an attacker at the last moment time and time again.
