Frosh Friday
Northwood was 30 minutes late and we were chomping at the bit! Waiting to avenge a 8 - 10 loss to them earlier in the season. First round was split 3-3, thanks to a huge tiebreaker win by Macclaine and Bella, 10-8! Second round the same, thanks to a great comeback tiebreaker win by Lauren and Brianna! They were down 2-5 and won 6-5! The Lions, always making it interesting, go to the final set, where we were down 1 - 3, before Natalie and Kayla climbed back into the lead 5-4, but couldn't break serve to avoid the breaker. Natalie and Kayla fought hard but came up 2 points short, 5-7. Had they been able to capture the breaker for a 9-9 overall tie, JSerra would have lost on game count 7- to 80.
