Mia defeated Mater Dei’s #2 and #1 players in that order before sitting out the 3rd set with a hurt hand. She and Kylie were the only ones who won 100% of matches played this afternoon.

Kylie got a late start with little warm-up as she came from a field trip. However, she fought off Mater Dei’s #3 player 7-5, getting stronger as she won her next 2 sets 6-3, 6-0. Kylie was the only JSerra player to win all 3 sets played.

JV defeats Mater Dei 12-6.

San Juan Capistrano, CA — Without it’s top 2 singles players, our JV team remained in sole possession of 2nd place in the Trinity League with a solid victory over Mater Dei this afternoon: 12 - 6. We have not beaten Mater Dei in several years, so this was extra sweet.
