San Juan Capistrano, CA — Without it’s top 2 singles players, our JV team remained in sole possession of 2nd place in the Trinity League with a solid victory over Mater Dei this afternoon: 12 - 6. We have not beaten Mater Dei in several years, so this was extra sweet. THANK YOU to Coach Wilson who filled in at the last minute so Coach Keith could go help out at the varsity match. Kudos to those in the 100% club (won all sets played): Kylie Davidson and Mia Carpino, both receiving MVP honors for doing so. Winning 2 of 3 sets played today: Grace Hoover in singles; Anna Ciraci / Kira Burke - doubles; Ava Zell / Breanna Ursetta - doubles. Next up: rematch vs Santa Margarita THURSDAY on our home courts.
