Tigers Drop Low Scoring Contest to Longhorns
The Freshman Elsinore Tigers lost their first game of the season against Rancho Buena Vista by a score of 10-6. In an old school, low scoring battle, the Longhorns got an early lead and were able to hold on in a scoreless second half. In spite of an excited and outstanding home crowd (big thanks to family and friends...you were definitely noticed) , the Tiger offense stalled in the “red zone” multiple times and just couldn’t seem to break through with a timely big scoring play.
