Tough Draw

In a closely contested match, Tonganoxie High School battled to a 2-2 draw against Sumner High School. Tonganoxie opened the scoring for THS with a well-placed goal by Jackson Wedel, putting the Chieftains on the board. Sumner responded with two goals, but Tonganoxie fought back. Late in the game, Elijah Wease found the back of the net with a crucial equalizer, securing the hard-fought draw.
