Line up #2 vs Esperanza
The whole team served up a bagel, but, it wasn't as close as 6-0 looks! Hudson and Lucas at line 1, squeaked out an 8-7 [7-5] tiebreaker after being up early in this 8 game pro set. They held on with a great tiebreaker to pull it out. Hudson hit some forehands that darn near broke the sound barrier and Lucas was a mad man at the net! Enzo was involved in another nail biter, 8-5 , HB was 8-4 in a vs a tenacious kid too. Alex/Michael and Johnny/Logan were ruthless winning 8-1 and 8-0 respectively. THEN Kayden playing in the #1 spot fell behind and was in the 1 step forward 2 step back syndrome, literally, all the way. We had a little talk at 2-5, he broke then held for 4-5 deficit... I go back to #1 dubs, look over and Kayden's down a 2 breaks again, 4-7... BUT, with both teams watching, Kayden claws his way up the ladder and plays his best for last, winning the tiebreaker and completing the bagel sweep for the Lions! EVERYONE is an MVP !!!
