Bees fall in a tight game against Mundelein
The Zee-Bees gave it everything they had but fell to the Mustangs 8-4. Dominik Leith started the game for the Bees surrendering zero runs on four hits over four innings, striking out one. The Mustangs struck back in the top of the 5th, scoring 6 runs to take the lead. The Zee-Bees put up their fourth run in the bottom of the 5th with Dominik Leith scoring from second on a passed ball, but the Bees were unable to plate any more baserunners. Rafael "Junior" Villalobos went 1 for 2 at the plate with AJ Neargarder and Andrew Carlson driving in runs for the Zee-Bees. The Zee-Bees return to action tomorrow to face Rolling Meadows.
