Chargers Beat #5 Ranked Walnut
In a must win situation in Hacienda League play, the Charter Oak boys varsity basketball team pulled off a 43-40 victory over the visiting Walnut Mustangs on Wednesday night. After two tough loses to Diamond Ranch and Los Altos on the road last week, the Chargers returned home to stay unbeaten on their home court. Walnut was recently ranked fifth in the San Gabriel Valley by the Tribune.
