FHE strong for opener
The Fighting Scots boys lacrosse team lost their season opener to the Hawks by the score of 8-4 last night at Scotland Yard. The Hawks got the scoring started at the 3:41 mark of the first period. Eastern then added three more before halftime as they took a 4-0 lead into the break. Eastern added one more to their total as their lead grew to 5-0 at the end of three. The Scots finally got on the board as Junior Blake Herron after a nice dodge off of his defender. The Hawks responded just a minute and nine seconds later. Caledonia then cut the lead in half with back to back goals from Jack VanEss. Jackson Kozak also added on a goal for the Scots but a four goal fourth quarter wasn’t enough for the comeback.
