Baseball Team Rallies Late For Victory Over Brookfield (By Andy Hutchison of The Newtown Bee)

After breaking a scoreless tie with a run in the fifth inning, only to see visiting Brookfield plate the tying run in the top of the sixth, Newtown High School’s baseball team got the bats going with a four spot in the bottom of the frame. Starting pitcher Will Burns finished off a gem and the Nighthawks posted a 5-1 win over the Bobcats on May 1.
